In the 18th minute, one of Vakoufi Utd:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vakoufi Utd. Jonathan Bastin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Petros Vasdekis firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 23rd minute, Jonathan Bastin made a precise shot to the right of Petros Vasdekis. Vakoufi Utd's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After a rather tough play, Vakoufi Utd's Giannis Spinakis got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 28th minute, Vincent Troubat sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Vakoufi Utd's Petros Vasdekis didn't even have to move. The supporters of En avant de guingamp booed when Vakoufi Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignatios Poursaitidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 31 played minutes, En avant de guingamp's Vincent Troubat shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Petros Vasdekis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in En avant de guingamp reached it. Vakoufi Utd's Petros Vasdekis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Vakoufi Utd from getting a goal against them. In the 34th minute, En avant de guingamp's Xu Xing Ming dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Jonathan Bastin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Petros Vasdekis made a huge save. In the 40th minute Corentin Serre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petros Vasdekis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vakoufi Utd's Petros Vasdekis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaétan Recher in the 43rd minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, Corentin Serre recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Petros Vasdekis. Corentin Serre showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Corentin Serre stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corentin Serre in the 53rd minute of play forced Vakoufi Utd's goalkeeper Petros Vasdekis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Akakios Panopoulos's late challenge caught a En avant de guingamp's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
