Ronaldinho Porto ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 21st minute Zé Augusto Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cido Koehler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ITAFUT 4EVER's Alan Bittencourt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save ITAFUT 4EVER from getting a goal against them. In the 31st match minute, ITAFUT 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dráuzio Amorim to maneuver through the defense. Luís Galvão succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 35th playminute. ITAFUT 4EVER's Alan Bittencourt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save ITAFUT 4EVER from getting a goal against them. 42 minutes into the match, ITAFUT 4EVER's Zé Augusto Cardoso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cido Koehler narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alan Bittencourt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Galvão in the 44th minute. After a defensive mix-up in ITAFUT 4EVER's zone, Luís Galvão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alan Bittencourt came out of the goal and Luís Galvão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, ITAFUT 4EVER's Francisco Oliveira got a free kick in the 47th minute. Bruninho Lopes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alan Bittencourt. ITAFUT 4EVER's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zé Augusto Cardoso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cido Koehler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zé Augusto Cardoso in the 59th minute. Bruninho Lopes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alan Bittencourt. ITAFUT 4EVER's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Alan Bittencourt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Galvão in the 69th minute of play. After 69 played minutes ITAFUT 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by Nelson de Alcântara. Francisco Oliveira lost his temper 73 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 74th minute, Francisco Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 74 minutes, Bruninho Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CENZI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruninho Lopes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bruninho Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Galvão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alan Bittencourt having to interfere. The supporters of ITAFUT 4EVER booed when CENZI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruninho Lopes didn't get a good kick on the ball.
