When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Tiaguinho Baptista put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Zheng Di Xi. Sandro Soeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruy Duarte in the 10th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of Encardidos:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of MDS Soccer Club:s goal. After 19 minutes MDS Soccer Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tiaguinho Baptista who took care of the corner kick. Encardidos's Tiaguinho Baptista was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Zheng Di Xi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Zheng Di Xi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Schmidt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Marcos Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiaguinho Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 28 minutes, Felippe da Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Encardidos and the MDS Soccer Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. MDS Soccer Club's Armandinho Brasil was substituted for Giovanni de Sousa. After 29 played minutes Encardidos got a freekick which was hit by Felippe da Costa. When Erivaldo Severo came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the MDS Soccer Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erivaldo Severo couldn't finish the play. After having played for 33 minutes, Armandinho Brasil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MDS Soccer Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armandinho Brasil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sandro Soeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erivaldo Severo in the 35th minute of the match. In the 37th match minute, MDS Soccer Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erivaldo Severo to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armandinho Brasil during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Armandinho Brasil hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 1-2 became the score in the 43rd minute when Armandinho Brasil elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 45th minute, José Maria Mineiro made a precise shot to the right of Sandro Soeiro. Encardidos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Armandinho Brasil in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sandro Soeiro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of MDS Soccer Club booed when Encardidos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sandro Soeiro made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Armandinho Brasil sent off a good shot on target. 75 minutes into the game, Erivaldo Severo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Sandro Soeiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, José Maria Mineiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. MDS Soccer Club's supporters rose to their feet, but José Maria Mineiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sandro Soeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 79 minutes into the match, Encardidos's goalkeeper Sandro Soeiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armandinho Brasil. Sandro Soeiro was a little too slow when Armandinho Brasil got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 1-6. MDS Soccer Club's Erivaldo Severo got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Armandinho Brasil came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the MDS Soccer Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armandinho Brasil couldn't finish the play. In the 93rd minute, Armandinho Brasil fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Sandro Soeiro, passed just outside the right post. Zheng Di Xi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiaguinho Baptista, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the match was over MDS Soccer Club could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Encardidos throughout the match.
