Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ricardo Sousa got the match started through his kick off. In the 8th minute, Marcelo Mangueira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brazil Academy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A collision led to Brazil Academy getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Ricardo Sousa hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Renato Ortiz during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 24th minute, Marcelo Mangueira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Serginho Azevedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 28th minute, Ricardo Sousa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Flamengo FC's Serginho Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reginaldo Ferraz in the 32nd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Flamengo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Mangueira came free, but Serginho Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Marcelo Mangueira put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Serginho Azevedo. In the 39th minute, Marcelo Mangueira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Serginho Azevedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. After having played for 43 minutes, Reginaldo Ferraz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brazil Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reginaldo Ferraz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

The wind increased when Arlindo Leão made the kick off in the second half. Abelardo Fantini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franklin Linhares having to interfere. Serginho Azevedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reginaldo Ferraz in the 54th minute. 62 minutes into the game, one of Flamengo FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 63 minutes Flamengo FC's goalkeeper Serginho Azevedo managed, with a little bit of luck, save Téo Paraense's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. After 65 played minutes Flamengo FC got a freekick which was hit by Arlindo Leão. Ricardo Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serginho Azevedo having to interfere. 67 minutes into the game, Zé Paulo Campidelis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Serginho Azevedo. Zé Paulo Campidelis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. 70 minutes into the game, Marcelo Mangueira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Serginho Azevedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Reginaldo Ferraz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Serginho Azevedo made a huge save. Serginho Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Mangueira in the 79th minute of the match. In the 81st minute Benjamin Messias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serginho Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reginaldo Ferraz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serginho Azevedo having to interfere. Zé Paulo Campidelis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
