In the 5th minute, Anísio Koehler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adam Doykin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor de Souza in the 7th minute of the match. Humberto Rossi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Adam Doykin got control of the ball when Nestor de Souza tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adam Doykin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tales Goiano in the 11th minute. Zé Augusto Hoffmann kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. If Anísio Koehler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Ceresso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anísio Koehler in the 25th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aloísio Donato in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomás Ceresso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. CE LAJEADENSE RS were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Jumentus Rock Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Caetano Saad took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Caetano Saad got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tomás Ceresso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Caetano Saad fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CE LAJEADENSE RS's protests and gave Caetano Saad a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th minute, Caetano Saad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aloísio Donato in the 38th minute of play forced Jumentus Rock Club's goalkeeper Tomás Ceresso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nelsinho Teles charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nelsinho Teles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Jumentus Rock Club booed when CE LAJEADENSE RS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nelsinho Teles didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute of the match Teodoro Neves shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adam Doykin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Anísio Koehler's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomás Ceresso was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Adam Doykin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nestor de Souza in the 46th minute. After the first half CE LAJEADENSE RS were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Reinaldo Arce made the kick off in the second half. Tomás Ceresso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gildo Cearense in the 50th minute of the match. Anísio Koehler did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Tomás Ceresso 52 minutes into the match. Jumentus Rock Club's Tomás Ceresso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Jumentus Rock Club from getting a goal against them. Tomás Ceresso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aloísio Donato's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. In the 63rd minute, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Aloísio Donato dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Cristóvão de Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After some careless play in the CE LAJEADENSE RS defense, Reinaldo Arce kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adam Doykin. The CE LAJEADENSE RS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adam Doykin should have stopped the shot. 80 minutes into the match, Jumentus Rock Club's goalkeeper Tomás Ceresso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aloísio Donato. CE LAJEADENSE RS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Caetano Saad in the 82nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Caetano Saad got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tomás Ceresso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of CE LAJEADENSE RS booed when Jumentus Rock Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enio Meirelles didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Nelsinho Teles from long distance, 92 minutes into the match, got Tomás Ceresso's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Although Jumentus Rock Club had been in control for most of the match, CE LAJEADENSE RS still came away with the win.
