Cordera Pardaves charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Cristian Sarmiento really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serhat Oytunç in the 10th minute of play forced River CBBA's goalkeeper Marcelo Barovero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Irakliy Ozhogin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Ruben, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Irakliy Ozhogin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Ruben in the 16th minute of the match. Venancio Che kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After 22 minutes Ríver Late's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Filipo Abeita who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to River CBBA getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Ignacio Scocco hit a great ball. Irakliy Ozhogin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khairul Swee in the 24th minute of play. After 25 played minutes Ríver Late got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sarmiento. Dario Draxler charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dario Draxler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ríver Late! 31 minutes into the match, River CBBA's Khairul Swee sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Irakliy Ozhogin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Filipo Abeita charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filipo Abeita the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 32 played minutes River CBBA got a freekick which was hit by Filipo Abeita. The audience was convinced that Serhat Oytunç's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelo Barovero was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Ríver Late's Dolfo Clemente got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 38th match minute, River CBBA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipo Abeita to maneuver through the defense. Vitin Corzana kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marco Ruben to make the kick off. Irakliy Ozhogin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khairul Swee in the 51st minute of play. Dolfo Clemente was shown his second yellow card after 54 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Marcelo Barovero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serhat Oytunç, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 61 minutes into the game, Serhat Oytunç cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Marcelo Barovero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ríver Late made a substitution. Dimas Barrientos replaced Dario Draxler. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Marco Ruben took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Irakliy Ozhogin to make any attempt to save it. River CBBA's Leopoldo Luque was substituted for Marco Ruben. Leopoldo Luque in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Irakliy Ozhogin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Marcelo Barovero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serhat Oytunç in the 77th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, River CBBA's goal looked a bit too open when Cordera Pardaves came free, but Marcelo Barovero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Ríver Late defense, Leopoldo Luque kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Irakliy Ozhogin. The Ríver Late fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Irakliy Ozhogin should have stopped the shot. The supporters of River CBBA booed when Ríver Late was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herbert Spencer didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Leopoldo Luque kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Irakliy Ozhogin. That made the score 2-4 in the 89 minute of play. Ignacio Scocco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The River CBBA supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing River CBBA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
