Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sebastião Furtado started the match with the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Eurico Arantes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Eurico Arantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Ferraz in the 13th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Bruno Lenzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eurico Arantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Mota's late challenge caught a GLADIADORES's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marco Mota helped the player get up and apologised. In the 18th match minute, FALCÕES VERDES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Mota to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the match, GLADIADORES's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Lenzi came free, but Eurico Arantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Christiano Abraão had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eurico Arantes. GLADIADORES's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christiano Abraão was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. FALCÕES VERDES made a substitution. Nelsinho Ferreira replaced Alessandro Mangueira. In the 31st minute, Rony Gerber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Richard Vieira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eurico Arantes. GLADIADORES's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Conrado de Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastião Furtado in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Murillo Macedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bruno Lenzi was the one to do the kick off. GLADIADORES's Eurico Arantes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christiano Abraão in the 53rd minute of play. Murillo Macedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastião Furtado went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Túlio Perez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Murillo Macedo. That made the score 1-2 in the 62 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubens de Toledo in the 65th minute of play forced GLADIADORES's goalkeeper Eurico Arantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rubens de Toledo scored 2-2 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eurico Arantes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 70 minutes into the game, Oswaldo Recife was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FALCÕES VERDES's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GLADIADORES the free kick. In the 70th match minute, FALCÕES VERDES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oswaldo Recife to maneuver through the defense. Murillo Macedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Túlio Perez in the 72nd minute. 75 minutes into the match, Frédson Bertassi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Murillo Macedo, 2-3. In the 85th match minute, FALCÕES VERDES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nelsinho Ferreira to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute, Richard Vieira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastião Furtado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Murillo Macedo made a huge save. Valdir Sergipano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 97thth minute of the game Marco Mota who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GLADIADORES's Eurico Arantes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. GLADIADORES had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
