After 3 played minutes SANTOS FC- FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by Telmo Pirani. In the 5th minute of the match Wilson Severo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jano Bezerra showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 11thth minute of the game Durvalino de Medeiros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SANTOS FC- FDFDF's Jano Bezerra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. SANTOS FC- FDFDF's Jano Bezerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Durvalino de Medeiros in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th minute of the match Wilson Severo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jano Bezerra skillfully saved the ball. In the 22nd minute, Gino Berger ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eliézer Moreno was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 28th minute, Erivaldo Furlan made a precise shot to the right of Jano Bezerra. SANTOS FC- FDFDF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 31st minute Durvalino de Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jano Bezerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to EoDu Uai Sôccer getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Durvalino de Medeiros hit a great ball. After 38 played minutes EoDu Uai Sôccer got a freekick which was hit by Erivaldo Furlan. In the 41st minute, SANTOS FC- FDFDF's Kléber Botelho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eliézer Moreno. Eliézer Moreno yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. In the 45th match minute, EoDu Uai Sôccer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilson Cosme to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in SANTOS FC- FDFDF's zone, Erivaldo Furlan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jano Bezerra came out of the goal and Erivaldo Furlan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Kléber Botelho made the kick off in the second half. Denílson Pombal hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Eliézer Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gino Berger in the 53rd minute of play. Hudson Valadares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, EoDu Uai Sôccer's Reginaldo Meira got a free kick in the 55th minute. Wilson Severo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jano Bezerra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. SANTOS FC- FDFDF's Jano Bezerra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save SANTOS FC- FDFDF from getting a goal against them. In the 69thth minute of the game Renatinho Paiva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SANTOS FC- FDFDF's Jano Bezerra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 72 minutes of play, SANTOS FC- FDFDF's Hudson Valadares made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eliézer Moreno was left in no man's land by his defense there! During the 75th minute of the match Erivaldo Furlan completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Erivaldo Furlan a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of SANTOS FC- FDFDF booed when EoDu Uai Sôccer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erivaldo Furlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute, Kléber Botelho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SANTOS FC- FDFDF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. SANTOS FC- FDFDF's Jano Bezerra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save SANTOS FC- FDFDF from getting a goal against them. When Telmo Pirani fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SANTOS FC- FDFDF's protests and gave Telmo Pirani a yellow card for diving instead. Telmo Pirani kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Jano Bezerra made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Durvalino de Medeiros sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in SANTOS FC- FDFDF's zone, Durvalino de Medeiros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jano Bezerra came out of the goal and Durvalino de Medeiros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 93 minutes into the match, SANTOS FC- FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Renatinho Paiva came free, but Jano Bezerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute of the match, Renatinho Paiva tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jano Bezerra saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SANTOS FC- FDFDF fully deserved thier win.
