When ADM Taquaras's Carlos Lira in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Lira in the 5th minute of play forced A A Arizona's goalkeeper 胡振鸿 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute, Carlos Lira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Manuel Paiva kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Décio Marinho. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. When Zé Augusto Romero fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ADM Taquaras's protests and gave Zé Augusto Romero a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of A A Arizona booed when ADM Taquaras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Augusto Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Décio Marinho was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Nilson Hoffmann. Fernando Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 胡振鸿 having to interfere. A collision led to ADM Taquaras getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Pedro Paulo Cruz hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, Gernando dos Santos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Décio Marinho. ADM Taquaras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gernando dos Santos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Ronaldinho Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Décio Marinho made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Dráusio Nóbrega sent off a good shot on target. In the 43rd match minute, ADM Taquaras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Lira to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Lira was the one to do the kick off. When Bruninho Castro fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A A Arizona's protests and gave Bruninho Castro a yellow card for diving instead. 57 minutes into the match, Manuel Paiva notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of ADM Taquaras's Décio Marinho. Décio Marinho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 60th minute Gernando dos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Décio Marinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wágner Paes kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Leonardo Lucas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A A Arizona fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in A A Arizona's zone, Fernando Marquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 胡振鸿 came out of the goal and Fernando Marquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd minute, Gernando dos Santos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A A Arizona fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. 78 minutes into the game, Ronaldinho Cruz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Décio Marinho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of ADM Taquaras booed when A A Arizona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gernando dos Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute, Manuel Paiva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A A Arizona fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. After a rather tough play, ADM Taquaras's Mané de Lima got a free kick in the 87th minute. After having played for 89 minutes, Manuel Paiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A A Arizona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Paiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wágner Paes hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. When A A Arizona's Ronaldinho Cruz in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ADM Taquaras's goalie prevented a goal. Décio Marinho came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by A A Arizona's Leonardo Lucas. But to his dismay, Leonardo Lucas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. A A Arizona walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
