In the 25th minute of the match Barcellos Mineiro FC got a corner. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eriberto de Queiroz ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Eriberto de Queiroz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Omar Duardo did a great save. Genko Balevski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Geovânio de Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genko Balevski, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Hulk Fenomeno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geovânio de Medeiros was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hulk Fenomeno got free with Geovânio de Medeiros in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Xayveon Orsini lost his temper 93 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 93rd minute of the game.
