The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Doni Velloso came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Agro Imortal's Delfim da Costa. But to his dismay, Delfim da Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Doni Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delfim da Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute Delfim da Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doni Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Doni Velloso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Delfim da Costa's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Delfim da Costa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Doni Velloso made a huge save. After 28 minutes, Joel Martins mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vila Industrial FC and the Agro Imortal players grew even worse after the yellow card. Agro Imortal were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Vila Industrial FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arlindo Zanette took the corner. 39 minutes into the game, Agro Imortal's Delfim da Costa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Doni Velloso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Agro Imortal's Arlindo Zanette quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Teodoro Pirani, made in the 43rd minute of the game. After some careless play in the Vila Industrial FC defense, Delfim da Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Doni Velloso. The Vila Industrial FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Doni Velloso should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delfim da Costa in the 47th minute of play forced Vila Industrial FC's goalkeeper Doni Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

A sloppy throw-in by Teodoro Pirani in the 51st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Agro Imortal's Sixto Naldo. 52 minutes into the match, Delfim da Costa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Doni Velloso. Vila Industrial FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Delfim da Costa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. When Delfim da Costa came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Agro Imortal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delfim da Costa couldn't finish the play. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vila Industrial FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arlindo Zanette was slow to take the kick. During this time Agro Imortal's players had a chance to rest. Arlindo Zanette made a great header on Agro Imortal's corner, it was just that Vila Industrial FC's Doni Velloso managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 63rd minute, Delfim da Costa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Doni Velloso was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. 66 minutes into the game, Agro Imortal's Delfim da Costa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Doni Velloso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. Agro Imortal made a substitution. Sebastian Algren replaced Arlindo Zanette. Agro Imortal made a substitution. When Naci Cabezon came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Agro Imortal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Naci Cabezon couldn't finish the play. There was no doubt that Agro Imortal were the better team. Agro Imortal's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
