In the 4th match minute, Pingos Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Froilan Christobal to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute, Osvaldo Birjaio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Anibal Fix. The goal made the score 1-0. After a rather tough play, Pingos Futbol Club's Uriel Conrao got a free kick in the 8th minute. Baltasar Chap sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucas Oalo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Anibal Fix firmly grabbed it by the left post. Arnaldo Arnas kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Pegaso's Silverio Gonsalve played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvio Batistuta in the 21st minute of play. When Pegaso's Baltasar Chap in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a defensive mix-up in Pegaso's zone, Gustavo Gaur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silverio Gonsalve came out of the goal and Gustavo Gaur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baltasar Chap was the one to do the kick off. Osvaldo Birjaio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anibal Fix having to make a save. Pegaso made a substitution. Gavino Terciero replaced Baltasar Chap. Gavino Terciero charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gavino Terciero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gavino Terciero hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Pingos Futbol Club made a substitution. Evaristo Garaile replaced Ariel Silban. In the 73rd match minute, Pegaso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavino Terciero to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Osvaldo Birjaio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pegaso's supporters rose to their feet, but Osvaldo Birjaio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anibal Fix breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anibal Fix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Birjaio in the 82nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Oalo in the 93rd minute of play forced Pingos Futbol Club's goalkeeper Anibal Fix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pegaso's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
