The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Piernas Locas Crane FC booed when Club Atlético Escocia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Ricart didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelino Atarrabi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luciano Bertran went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luciano Bertran to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Club Atlético Escocia getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Clemente Oroitz hit a great ball. Marcelino Atarrabi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Berasko, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Marcelino Atarrabi came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Piernas Locas Crane FC's Jonathan Jobo. But to his dismay, Jonathan Jobo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Marcelino Atarrabi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Bertran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute, Jonathan Jobo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Club Atlético Escocia's Fermin Chano was substituted for Dionisio Bermudez. Club Atlético Escocia's Isidro Hibai was substituted for Jeronimo Joachim. Clemente Oroitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Erasto having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Piernas Locas Crane FC's zone, Flavio Ricart stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Erasto came out of the goal and Flavio Ricart tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 78 minutes, Clemente Oroitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Escocia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clemente Oroitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 83 minutes into the game, German Gipuzkoa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Piernas Locas Crane FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Escocia the free kick. German Gipuzkoa kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Luciano Bertran made a precise shot to the right of Marcelino Atarrabi. Club Atlético Escocia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Marcelino Atarrabi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Bertran in the 90th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute Jonathan Jobo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelino Atarrabi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Piernas Locas Crane FC were the better team. Piernas Locas Crane FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
