The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. AFC United's Cisco Rubial played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christiano Ronaldo in the 4th minute of play. Hondo Beneit charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hondo Beneit the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 6 played minutes AFC United got a freekick which was hit by Hondo Beneit. Nicky Butt kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Sancho Orcondona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egun Galan in the 11th minute of play. After 18 minutes, Matthew Vall mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AFC United and the MILLONARIOS FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, AFC United's Matthew Vall got a free kick in the 18th minute. AFC United's Cisco Rubial played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Díaz in the 20th minute of play. Egun Galan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Sancho Orcondona made a huge save. In the 23rd minute, Luis Díaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. During the 33rd minute of the match Hondo Beneit completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Hondo Beneit a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Hondo Beneit kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Senen Sevilla charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Senen Sevilla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. AFC United's Cisco Rubial played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christiano Ronaldo in the 45th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luis Díaz made a kick off. If Egun Galan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. AFC United were furious when Goren Cabañas was red carded, 56 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in AFC United fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Penalty! 64 minutes into the game, Maties Toranzo threw the ball into play from the sideline. AFC United's Egun Galan quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, MILLONARIOS FC's Markel Robles got a free kick in the 72nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Christiano Ronaldo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cisco Rubial. That made the score 0-3 in the 76 minute of play. Cisco Rubial didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christiano Ronaldo went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Gilen Martioda made in the 82nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Archibaldo Ahumada however managed to control. After 84 played minutes AFC United got a freekick which was hit by Matthew Vall. Gilen Martioda hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Cisco Rubial made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christiano Ronaldo in the 87th minute. Cisco Rubial was a little too slow when Christiano Ronaldo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 0-5. MILLONARIOS FC's Christiano Ronaldo got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
