In the 2nd minute the ball was on its way in behind New England Patriots's goalkeeper Luiz Gustavo Fontes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The PREZULO FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The supporters of New England Patriots booed when PREZULO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Chaves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafinha Lara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustavo Cordeiro's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Jean Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Rafinha Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miguel Chaves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Luiz Gustavo Fontes made a huge save. When Gustavo Tasso fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PREZULO FC's protests and gave Gustavo Tasso a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, PREZULO FC's Gustavo Tasso got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 31stth minute of the game Miguel Chaves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but New England Patriots's Luiz Gustavo Fontes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Severino Secco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Gustavo Fontes having to interfere. Luiz Gustavo Fontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Chaves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36thth minute of the game Miguel Chaves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but New England Patriots's Luiz Gustavo Fontes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 37th match minute, New England Patriots was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luan Domingues to maneuver through the defense. New England Patriots's Gustavo Cordeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 54 minutes, Miguel Chaves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PREZULO FC and the New England Patriots players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 54 played minutes PREZULO FC got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Chaves. Luiz Gustavo Fontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Chaves, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Luan Domingues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Franklin Garcia charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Franklin Garcia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 72nd minute, Franklin Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 73 played minutes New England Patriots got a freekick which was hit by Jean Faria. 77 minutes into the match, New England Patriots's goal looked a bit too open when Franklin Garcia came free, but Luiz Gustavo Fontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Gustavo Fontes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miguel Chaves's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. The PREZULO FC fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when PREZULO FC's Miguel Chaves looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Miguel Chaves came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the PREZULO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Chaves couldn't finish the play. Miguel Chaves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Chaves in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Gustavo Fontes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. PREZULO FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
