Emilio Selmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Renato Gaspar, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Amaducci's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Steffen Breistein was slow to take the kick. During this time Capitala's players had a chance to rest. Capitala's Steffen Breistein was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Emilio Selmo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Lütfi Soner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Astor Domeka in the 20th minute of play. Emilio Selmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionel Curuțiu in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Capitala's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Romulo Goren was slow to take the kick. During this time Amaducci's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Romulo Goren got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lütfi Soner quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience was convinced that Paulo Renato Gaspar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emilio Selmo was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Șerban Culiță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Emilio Selmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emilio Selmo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Amaducci players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Capitala were winning 0-1.

Astor Domeka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Șerban Culiță blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emilio Selmo having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Hilaire Kaplan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Amaducci's supporters rose to their feet, but Hilaire Kaplan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lütfi Soner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emilio Selmo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Șerban Culiță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Vinicio Bernabel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lütfi Soner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hilaire Kaplan, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionel Curuțiu in the 81st minute of play forced Amaducci's goalkeeper Emilio Selmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpected shot in the 95th minute by Șerban Culiță got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Emilio Selmo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Renato Gaspar in the 95th minute. The Capitala players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
