Roy Brummer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lauro da Silveira having to interfere. Lauro da Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Oihenarte in the 15th minute of the match. The supporters of KN ZGORZELEC booed when União São José FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco de Salles didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by União São José FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elias Oihenarte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
