The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Souston C.F booed when FC Izesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Lăzan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Șerban Bojonca's late challenge caught a Souston C.F's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Șerban Bojonca helped the player get up and apologised. After 7 played minutes FC Izesti got a freekick which was hit by Șerban Bojonca. Rigoberto Guijarro tried in the 12th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Johan Alberda a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-0. Iurie Croitorus short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Johan Alberda to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bogdan Stelea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xulio Bermudez, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 24th match minute, Souston C.F was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xulio Bermudez to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute Adán Feria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Stelea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Johan Alberda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cezar Zmărăndache in the 33rd minute of play. Souston C.F's Johan Alberda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Souston C.F from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Souston C.F's Johan Alberda got control of the ball when Iurie Croitoru tried to sneak it across the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Souston C.F's goal looked a bit too open when Cezar Zmărăndache came free, but Johan Alberda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Șerban Bojonca was shown his second yellow card after 45 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 46th match minute, FC Izesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Șerban Bojonca to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xulio Bermudez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adán Feria in the 51st minute of play forced FC Izesti's goalkeeper Bogdan Stelea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Cosmin Gâțea notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Souston C.F's Johan Alberda. Johan Alberda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With his leg Bogdan Stelea managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Souston C.F's Xulio Bermudez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience was convinced that Cezar Zmărăndache's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Johan Alberda was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Cezar Zmărăndache sped through Souston C.F's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Johan Alberda. Xulio Bermudez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Cezar Zmărăndache sped through Souston C.F's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Johan Alberda. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cezar Zmărăndache in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Johan Alberda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Johan Alberda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosmin Gâțea, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Izesti fans cheered their team off the field, for while Souston C.F had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
