Servet Ciner hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, MAFFIAN's Vincent Linberg tried to score from far away in the 3rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, EdirneSpor's Hasan Hüseyin Şükrü got a free kick in the 5th minute. Vincent Linberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sari Kanarya. EdirneSpor's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Aron Dahlbom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torcuato Herrero in the 9th minute of the match. MAFFIAN's Andre Agassi got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 17 minutes into the match, MAFFIAN's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Hamza Gündüz came free, but Aron Dahlbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mehmet Demirer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sari Kanarya was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pete Sampras showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 24 minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves George Svensson could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Sari Kanarya however easily saved by the left post. Patrik Zachrisson kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind MAFFIAN's goalkeeper Aron Dahlbom, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torcuato Herrero in the 39th minute of play forced MAFFIAN's goalkeeper Aron Dahlbom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in MAFFIAN's zone, Torcuato Herrero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aron Dahlbom came out of the goal and Torcuato Herrero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hasan Hüseyin Şükrü hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yaman Tamer to strike the kick off in the second half. Ali Asım Akar hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. EdirneSpor's Sari Kanarya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andre Agassi in the 55th minute of play. Aron Dahlbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yaman Tamer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andre Agassi in the 62nd minute of play forced EdirneSpor's goalkeeper Sari Kanarya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aron Dahlbom came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by EdirneSpor's Mehmet Demirer. But to his dismay, Mehmet Demirer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Torcuato Herrero in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aron Dahlbom saved MAFFIAN from getting behind. Aron Dahlbom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yaman Tamer in the 76th minute of play. Aron Dahlbom made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ali Asım Akar in the 81st minute. After a rather tough play, EdirneSpor's Servet Ciner got a free kick in the 88th minute. 93 minutes into the match, MAFFIAN's goalkeeper Aron Dahlbom had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yaman Tamer. Mehmet Demirer took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aron Dahlbom. Aron Dahlbom dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The MAFFIAN supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching EdirneSpor's performance. The match ended with a win for EdirneSpor.
