After taking down the ball on FC Karlskoga's corner Egil Kielberg fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Berthold Bach quite easily take care of the ball. In the 16thth minute of the game Remigiusz Tomaszewski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SV Klingsmoos's Berthold Bach was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. SV Klingsmoos's Andrej Voronin got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Berthold Bach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigiusz Tomaszewski in the 21st minute of play. Sonny Algren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andrej Voronin might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgar Finsberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andrej Voronin ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 27th minute Andrej Voronin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Finsberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgar Finsberg made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Andrej Voronin sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Remigiusz Tomaszewski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. FC Karlskoga's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because SV Klingsmoos had won, even though FC Karlskoga had held more of the ball.
