The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cido Koehler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Svensson in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Svensson in the 8th minute of play forced CENZI's goalkeeper Cido Koehler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Jonathan Svensson notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of CENZI's Cido Koehler. Cido Koehler was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Túlio Dias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Mårten Nordström made a huge save. Mårten Nordström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Valladares in the 17th minute of play. Cido Koehler didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rune Alstedt went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Cido Koehler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Svensson, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Henrik Hasselqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Cido Koehler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Túlio Dias to strike the kick off in the second half. Villiam Finman hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Robin Zander's late challenge caught a CENZI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robin Zander helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Oakcroft Thrashers's Robin Zander got a free kick in the 58th minute. After some careless play in the CENZI defense, Jonathan Svensson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cido Koehler. The CENZI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cido Koehler should have stopped the shot. With his leg Cido Koehler managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Oakcroft Thrashers's Jonathan Svensson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Valladares in the 69th minute of play forced Oakcroft Thrashers's goalkeeper Mårten Nordström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Henrik Hasselqvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cido Koehler. CENZI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henrik Hasselqvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Jonathan Svensson struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Cido Koehler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oakcroft Thrashers. A collision led to CENZI getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Túlio Dias hit a great ball. Henrik Hasselqvist received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cido Koehler came out and tried to block the shot, but Henrik Hasselqvist slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 80th minute. Abel Messias's late challenge caught a Oakcroft Thrashers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. With a little luck, CENZI's Cido Koehler got control of the ball when Jonathan Svensson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Oakcroft Thrashers played a much better game than CENZI and deserved their victory. The CENZI players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
