The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. FC Lupus's Ryszard Kempski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save FC Lupus from getting a goal against them. In the 13th minute, Leonardo Lucas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 17 minutes into the game, when Nilson Hoffmann put in a rough tackle. 胡振鸿 had in the 19thth minute some difficulties stopping Wladyslaw Czermak's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gernando dos Santos got free with Ryszard Kempski in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of FC Lupus booed when A A Arizona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Paulo de Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kajetan Dobrzechowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 32 played minutes Leonardo Lucas rounded FC Lupus's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. In the 35th minute of the match, Leonardo Lucas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ryszard Kempski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Gernando dos Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronaldinho Cruz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Ryszard Kempski made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonardo Lucas was the one to do the kick off. FC Lupus's Ryszard Kempski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Lucas in the 53rd minute of play. A A Arizona were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after FC Lupus's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luiz Paulo de Queirós took the corner. After taking down the ball on A A Arizona's corner Luiz Paulo de Queirós fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ryszard Kempski quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Lucas in the 56th minute of play forced FC Lupus's goalkeeper Ryszard Kempski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ryszard Kempski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonardo Lucas went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gernando dos Santos in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ryszard Kempski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of A A Arizona booed when FC Lupus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juliusz Mindykowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the match, FC Lupus's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldinho Cruz came free, but Ryszard Kempski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 80 played minutes FC Lupus got a freekick which was hit by Jacek Dawiec. In the 82nd minute, Gernando dos Santos made a precise shot to the right of Ryszard Kempski. FC Lupus's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Egídio Jacinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 胡振鸿 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Kaminski in the 85th minute of play. When Wladyslaw Czermak fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Lupus's protests and gave Wladyslaw Czermak a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of A A Arizona booed when FC Lupus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wladyslaw Czermak didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to A A Arizona getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Ronaldinho Cruz hit a great ball. After 92 played minutes, FC Lupus's Wladyslaw Czermak shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper 胡振鸿 came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Lupus reached it. A A Arizona's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
