Paralia Athens's Silviu Filimon quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gregorio Uxio, made in the 2nd minute of the game. Remus Vuia was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Panait Marghescu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Panait Marghescu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Codrin Beraru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liu Chao Xiao in the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Ragnar Lönn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Codrin Beraru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remus Vuia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panait Marghescu in the 16th minute of the match. Cristian Urdeş hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute of the match Valeriu Toacsen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Codrin Beraru skillfully saved the ball. In the 21stth minute of the game Panait Marghescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club 23's Remus Vuia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Paralia Athens's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Valeriu Toacsen was slow to take the kick. During this time Club 23's players had a chance to rest. 27 minutes into the match, Paralia Athens's goal looked a bit too open when Liu Chao Xiao came free, but Codrin Beraru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Codrin Beraru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liu Chao Xiao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led Club 23's Valeriu Toacsen to fire away a dangerous shot which Codrin Beraru despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 33rd minute, Ragnar Lönn made a precise shot to the right of Codrin Beraru. Paralia Athens's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Martin Arseni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Panait Marghescu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Remus Vuia firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Ragnar Lönn put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Codrin Beraru. Martin Arseni charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martin Arseni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Club 23 getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Liu Chao Xiao hit a great ball. Remus Vuia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Arseni in the 45th minute of the match. The supporters of Paralia Athens booed when Club 23 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roch Marud didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Club 23 were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Liu Chao Xiao to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Paralia Athens's goal looked a bit too open when Liu Chao Xiao came free, but Codrin Beraru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Liu Chao Xiao in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Codrin Beraru saved Paralia Athens from getting behind. Paralia Athens's Codrin Beraru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Paralia Athens from getting a goal against them. Remus Vuia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Arseni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Remus Vuia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Panait Marghescu's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute, Cristian Urdeş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th match minute, Paralia Athens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Urdeş to maneuver through the defense. Remus Vuia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Panait Marghescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute, Edgar Bornescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club 23's Niculae Cângea was substituted for Qu Yan Nan. After 76 played minutes Paralia Athens got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Bornescu. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Paralia Athens's goalkeeper Codrin Beraru, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 79 minutes, Aron Chițes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club 23's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aron Chițes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Codrin Beraru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aron Chițes in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Arseni in the 83rd minute of play forced Club 23's goalkeeper Remus Vuia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Paralia Athens getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Pompiliu Barbăsură hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Aron Chițes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Codrin Beraru was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Codrin Beraru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aron Chițes in the 90th minute. In the 93rd minute Ragnar Lönn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Codrin Beraru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Club 23 walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
