The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute, Róbson Mangueira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nonatos United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. William Corrêa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camillo Ferraro, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. If Anselmo Zaccardi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to San Felice a Ema U.L. getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Angelo Toccaceli hit a great ball. Nonatos United's Marco Porto couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 28th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for San Felice a Ema U.L.. A collision led to Nonatos United getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Marco Porto hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Nonatos United's Róbson Mangueira got a free kick in the 41st minute. Nonatos United's William Corrêa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmondo Forte in the 42nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angelo Toccaceli during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to San Felice a Ema U.L. getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Angelo Toccaceli hit a great ball. Róbson Mangueira took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adriano Sabatini. Adriano Sabatini dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fulvio Eleuteri was the one to do the kick off. San Felice a Ema U.L.'s Adriano Sabatini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbson Mangueira in the 54th minute of play. Edmondo Forte took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised William Corrêa. William Corrêa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 66 minutes into the match, San Felice a Ema U.L.'s goal looked a bit too open when Róbson Mangueira came free, but Adriano Sabatini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 68 minutes on the clock, Edoardo Mattei commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 69th match minute, San Felice a Ema U.L. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edoardo Mattei to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the match, Nonatos United's Marco Porto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adriano Sabatini narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Agnaldo Vinhas struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Adriano Sabatini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nonatos United. Dráusio Palmeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dráusio Palmeira's late challenge caught a San Felice a Ema U.L.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dráusio Palmeira helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Nonatos United getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Dráusio Palmeira hit a great ball. Anselmo Zaccardi didn't quite understand what happened when in the 90 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. When the referee ended the match the Nonatos United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
