But to his dismay, Óskar Aspfors quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Salgado in the 12th minute of play forced Mafia Koniaka's goalkeeper Edmund Burufski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlinhos Vieira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filip Dzierwa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute, Jurand Sidorowicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmund Burufski made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Óskar Aspfors sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice moves Óskar Aspfors could shoot a difficult shot in the 43rd minute, which Edmund Burufski however easily saved by the left post. Marco Dias charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marco Dias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th match minute, ≮王者归来≯NEWS AT 11 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Dias to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Óskar Aspfors to strike the kick off in the second half. ≮王者归来≯NEWS AT 11's Carlinhos Vieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Dzierwa in the 53rd minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Óskar Aspfors was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ≮王者归来≯NEWS AT 11's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mafia Koniaka the free kick. In the 68th minute, Daniel Salgado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Edmund Burufski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ediberto Arce in the 75th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Boruc Redisz during the 77th minute. After a rather tough play, Mafia Koniaka's Boruc Redisz got a free kick in the 78th minute. Daniel Salgado took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Edmund Burufski. Mafia Koniaka's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Edmund Burufski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joélson das Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
