Remond Struik came out of the goal and Lucrețiu Miheș tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 10 minutes, Ab Eefting made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Paralia Athens's Doru Apostu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Beetje Moe Re-United's Jelmer Holt got a free kick in the 16th minute. Leonard Chirculescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Remond Struik having to make a save. In the 19th minute Leonard Chirculescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remond Struik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Paralia Athens's Stelian Todericiu got a free kick in the 25th minute. Doru Apostu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ab Eefting in the 26th minute of play. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Stelian Todericiu sped through Beetje Moe Re-United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Remond Struik. The supporters of Beetje Moe Re-United booed when Paralia Athens was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gelu Beșliu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Doru Apostu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serge Schophuis, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After 47 played minutes Paralia Athens got a freekick which was hit by Teodor Romeo. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stelian Todericiu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Serge Schophuis made a precise shot to the right of Doru Apostu. Paralia Athens's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Doru Apostu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serge Schophuis, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Doru Apostu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elmar Grijp in the 60th minute of the match.
