The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Botelho in the 9th minute of play forced Linghed Angels FC's goalkeeper Markus Ryberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute of the match, Amílton Antunes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Markus Ryberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Markus Ryberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amílton Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, Linghed Angels FC's goalkeeper Markus Ryberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amílton Antunes. The crowd rose to their feet as Villaverde Celeste Clube's Edson-Arantes Pelé slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Markus Ryberg. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. Ove Hellström's late challenge caught a Villaverde Celeste Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ove Hellström helped the player get up and apologised. Ove Hellström hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. If Isaltino Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augusto Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörgen Magnusson in the 34th minute of play. Linghed Angels FC were furious when Anton Pilblad was red carded, 36 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 36th minute, Anton Pilblad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amílton Antunes got free with Markus Ryberg in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Augusto Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timmy Finsberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when Jörgen Magnusson made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Linghed Angels FC's Jörgen Magnusson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. In the 54th match minute, Villaverde Celeste Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guilherme Duarte to maneuver through the defense. Villaverde Celeste Clube's Augusto Fernandez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Villaverde Celeste Clube from getting a goal against them. Jörgen Magnusson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Augusto Fernandez made a huge save.
