Carlos Augusto Quintal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Bernardo Novaes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Várzea F.C.'s Carlos Augusto Quintal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Novaes in the 8th minute of play. Tomáš Houdek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anderson Paiva went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Lex Academy's Roman Jursa got a free kick in the 17th minute. Tomáš Houdek was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Aloísio Secco. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jude Monkhouse in the 21st minute of play forced Lex Academy's goalkeeper Tomáš Houdek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Várzea F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Miloslav Krupička came free, but Carlos Augusto Quintal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Augusto Quintal came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Lex Academy's Bernardo Novaes. But to his dismay, Bernardo Novaes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 39th minute Miloslav Krupička shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Augusto Quintal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Jesus Eusko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Augusto Quintal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Novaes in the 44th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bernardo Novaes to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Bernardo Novaes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Augusto Quintal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 52 minutes into the match, Bernardo Novaes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Carlos Augusto Quintal, 1-3. Carlos Augusto Quintal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Novaes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lex Academy made a substitution. Várzea F.C.'s Rogério Saldanha was substituted for Danilo Hats. 77 minutes in the game Jesus Eusko did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Anderson Paiva. Miloslav Krupička came free with the goalkeeper in the 80th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Carlos Augusto Quintal could save by the left post. Tomáš Houdek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anderson Paiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, Bernardo Novaes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Carlos Augusto Quintal, 1-4. Tomáš Houdek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anderson Paiva in the 86th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Anderson Paiva made a precise shot to the right of Tomáš Houdek. Lex Academy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. A collision led to Várzea F.C. getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Jesus Eusko hit a great ball. The Lex Academy players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
