After 3 played minutes KaoS Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Noel Hargrave. A collision led to KaoS Futbol Club getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Noel Hargrave hit a great ball. Eduardo Izel kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Jan-Olof Eliasson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Pierluigi Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. KaoS Futbol Club's Pierluigi Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Olof Eliasson in the 13th minute of play. Belchior Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacob Albuquerque, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. The goalkeeper, Belchior Saldanha, was totally fooled by KaoS Futbol Club's Dobromir Kaczucha, who 17 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Pierluigi Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Anaya in the 20th minute of play. Belchior Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacob Albuquerque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th match minute, La Gallardeta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Anaya to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the match, KaoS Futbol Club's Jacob Albuquerque sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Belchior Saldanha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jacob Albuquerque's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Belchior Saldanha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Clemente Anaya left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Gallardeta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Belchior Saldanha made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Jacob Albuquerque sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Belchior Saldanha managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when KaoS Futbol Club's Jacob Albuquerque fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 41 minutes into the match, La Gallardeta's goalkeeper Belchior Saldanha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacob Albuquerque. Jacob Albuquerque blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Belchior Saldanha having to make a save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jacob Albuquerque stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes La Gallardeta got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Olof Eliasson. La Gallardeta's Belchior Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noel Hargrave in the 56th minute of play. La Gallardeta's Clemente Anaya got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. La Gallardeta's Belchior Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Noe in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute Narciso Noe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Belchior Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Belchior Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lluis Companys, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. The supporters of KaoS Futbol Club booed when La Gallardeta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Olof Eliasson didn't get a good kick on the ball. KaoS Futbol Club's Igor Lebas was substituted for Jacob Albuquerque. In the 79th minute, Jan-Olof Eliasson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Noel Hargrave took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Belchior Saldanha. La Gallardeta's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noel Hargrave in the 88th minute of play forced La Gallardeta's goalkeeper Belchior Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. León Ponzio hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Despite being the better team, KaoS Futbol Club failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
