The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Caetano Toscano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 8 minutes of play, FC WAWER's Marian Italia made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geovânio de Medeiros was left in no man's land by his defense there! Geovânio de Medeiros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fatih Özbay's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. After 19 minutes, Fatih Özbay made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Geovânio de Medeiros tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 23rd minute Marian Italia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovânio de Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC WAWER were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Barcellos Mineiro FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rostyslav Leonenko took the corner. In the 26th minute, Marcelo Diniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marek Tomporowski hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. David Ferran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto de Queiroz in the 29th minute of play. Geovânio de Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marian Italia in the 31st minute of the match. After 34 minutes, Augusto Recife mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barcellos Mineiro FC and the FC WAWER players grew even worse after the yellow card. 34 minutes into the game, one of Barcellos Mineiro FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 40 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marian Italia came free, but Geovânio de Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Fernando Monteiro lost his temper 44 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 43 minutes into the game, one of Barcellos Mineiro FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave FC WAWER a penalty, 45 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fatih Özbay, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Barcellos Mineiro FC's Geovânio de Medeiros. 0-4. The Barcellos Mineiro FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC WAWER were winning 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marian Italia made a kick off. In the 50th match minute, Barcellos Mineiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Recife to maneuver through the defense. Fatih Özbay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovânio de Medeiros having to interfere. A collision led to FC WAWER getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Rostyslav Leonenko hit a great ball. David Ferran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Vianna in the 53rd minute of play. FC WAWER made a substitution. Adam Zakrzewski replaced Marian Italia. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by Barcellos Mineiro FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rostyslav Leonenko was slow to take the kick. During this time FC WAWER's players had a chance to rest. The corner led FC WAWER's Rostyslav Leonenko to fire away a dangerous shot which Geovânio de Medeiros despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Geovânio de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fatih Özbay in the 68th minute of play. 70 minutes into the game, Fatih Özbay recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Geovânio de Medeiros. Fatih Özbay showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. 73 minutes into the match, FC WAWER's goal looked a bit too open when Baltazar Galvão came free, but David Ferran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Adam Zakrzewski could shoot a difficult shot in the 74th minute, which Geovânio de Medeiros however easily saved by the left post. Geovânio de Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fatih Özbay, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Geovânio de Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fatih Özbay in the 79th minute of play. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Geovânio de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fatih Özbay in the 81st minute of play. Geovânio de Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fatih Özbay, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. If Fatih Özbay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 87th play minute Rostyslav Leonenko came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Geovânio de Medeiros. 0-7. FC WAWER made a substitution. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Geovânio de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariusz Chazen in the 92nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Mariusz Chazen managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC WAWER's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariusz Chazen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geovânio de Medeiros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adam Zakrzewskis short, quick shot in the 96thth minute got Geovânio de Medeiros to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The Barcellos Mineiro FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC WAWER's performance. The match ended with a win for FC WAWER.
