The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Leandro Soares notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of ITAFUT 4EVER's Ciro Brasil. Ciro Brasil was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 6 minutes into the match, Rick Cabezon dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ciro Brasil, 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fausto Queirós during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th match minute, ITAFUT 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beto Viana to maneuver through the defense. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Eriberto Vidal came free and shot a quick shot against goal 15 minutes in the game, fortunately Ciro Brasil had problems saving as it came toward the left post. ITAFUT 4EVER's attentive Wiliam Paes managed to snatch the ball when Fausto Queirós made a throw-in in the 16th minute of the game. With a little luck, ITAFUT 4EVER's Ciro Brasil got control of the ball when Eriberto Vidal tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 20th minute, Evair Palmeira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ITAFUT 4EVER fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 24th minute, Evair Palmeira made a precise shot to the right of Ronaldo Sampaio. Barcellos Mineiro FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. ITAFUT 4EVER's Renatinho Urbano got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ronaldo Sampaio came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by ITAFUT 4EVER's Guto de Castro. But to his dismay, Guto de Castro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. 31 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Evair Palmeira came free, but Ronaldo Sampaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rick Cabezon might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ciro Brasil. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rick Cabezon ran back to his position shaking his head. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Ronaldo Sampaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guto de Castro in the 40th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

Tonhão Palmeira charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tonhão Palmeira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Barcellos Mineiro FC booed when ITAFUT 4EVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tonhão Palmeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wiliam Paes during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wiliam Paes hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. A collision led to ITAFUT 4EVER getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Wiliam Paes hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Evair Palmeira took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Ronaldo Sampaio to make any attempt to save it. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Ronaldo Sampaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renatinho Urbano in the 79th minute of play. Rick Cabezon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Brasil having to interfere. ITAFUT 4EVER made a substitution. Marcus de Mendonça replaced Renatinho Urbano. In the 92nd minute, ITAFUT 4EVER's Evair Palmeira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-5. ITAFUT 4EVER were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Barcellos Mineiro FC's much stronger midfield.
