Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) Jānis Blūms made the kick off and thus started the match. The supporters of Latvia booed when Singapore was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chai didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute Raitis Porītis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shah Braddell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valdis Felbergs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Chian in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Singapore's Mark Chian ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Valdis Felbergs. Valdis Felbergs yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Valdis Felbergs stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mark Chian's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Latvia's goal looked a bit too open when Mujahid Sim came free, but Valdis Felbergs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Singapore's goal looked a bit too open when Knuts Plekss came free, but Shah Braddell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kristiāns Princāns hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Knuts Plekss in the 25th minute of play forced Singapore's goalkeeper Shah Braddell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Modris Pavējš left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Latvia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Sentis Ciblis charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sentis Ciblis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 34 minutes into the match, Latvia's goalkeeper Valdis Felbergs had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mujahid Sim. 36 minutes into the match, Singapore's goal looked a bit too open when Jānis Blūms came free, but Shah Braddell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Knuts Plekss had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Shah Braddell. Singapore's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Knuts Plekss was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Valdis Felbergs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudy Chandran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valdis Felbergs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Chian in the 44th minute of the match. After the first half Latvia were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mark Chian to strike the kick off in the second half. Valdis Felbergs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Chian in the 51st minute of play. Shah Braddell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jānis Blūms, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 57th minute of the match Alex Chai sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valdis Felbergs skillfully saved the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Singapore's Mark Chian sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valdis Felbergs narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Valdis Felbergs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mujahid Sim in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute Singapore were awarded a corner. Alex Chai went to the cornerflag to take it. Mark Chian scored 3-2 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valdis Felbergs, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Shah Braddell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viesturs Pilāns, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, Latvia's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Seng came free, but Valdis Felbergs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd match minute, Latvia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ikars Zurpēvics to maneuver through the defense. Shah Braddell made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Raitis Porītis sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Tan in the 77th minute of play forced Latvia's goalkeeper Valdis Felbergs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shah Braddell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Modris Pavējš in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudy Chandran in the 84th minute of play forced Latvia's goalkeeper Valdis Felbergs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valdis Felbergs didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adam Seng went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Valdis Felbergs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Tan, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viesturs Pilāns in the 92nd minute of play forced Singapore's goalkeeper Shah Braddell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shah Braddell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Knuts Plekss in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Singapore's goalkeeper Shah Braddell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Viesturs Pilāns. For all the effort they put into the match, the Latvia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Singapore.
