In the 4th minute, Xizavier Fleytas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Humberto Landeros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Corcuera having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, CD Corralitos's Humberto Landeros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Orlando Corcuera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 13 minutes, Wellington Cazarez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Metropolitanos F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Wellington Cazarez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 14 minutes, Joaquin Blasini mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Corralitos and the Metropolitanos F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to CD Corralitos getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Joaquin Blasini hit a great ball. Xizavier Fleytas kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. With a little luck, CD Corralitos's Cesar Acaron got control of the ball when Espinosa Saladrigues tried to sneak it across the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, CD Corralitos's Emilio Valero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Orlando Corcuera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Humberto Landeros managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Corralitos's supporters rose to their feet, but Humberto Landeros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orlando Corcuera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Orlando Corcuera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Valero in the 39th minute of play. When Humberto Landeros came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the CD Corralitos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Humberto Landeros couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
In the 54th minute Emilio Valero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Corcuera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bohórquez Laureano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Orlando Corcuera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Metropolitanos F.C.'s Orlando Corcuera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Valero in the 60th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Humberto Landeros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Metropolitanos F.C.'s Orlando Corcuera got control of the ball when Emilio Valero tried to sneak it across the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, Uhin Tabernilla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Metropolitanos F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CD Corralitos the free kick. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Metropolitanos F.C.! Humberto Landeros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Corcuera having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as CD Corralitos's Emilio Valero slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Orlando Corcuera. That made the score 0-3 after 78 minutes of play. After 80 played minutes Metropolitanos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Uhin Tabernilla. Metropolitanos F.C.'s Uhin Tabernilla got his second yellow card of the match in the 86th minute. The referee ordered Uhin Tabernilla off the ground. Uhin Tabernilla hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Leonardo Ferrero, 87 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 90 minutes into the game, CD Corralitos's Clemente Barbaza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Orlando Corcuera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Valero in the 97th minute of play forced Metropolitanos F.C.'s goalkeeper Orlando Corcuera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emilio Valero struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Orlando Corcuera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Corralitos. CD Corralitos's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
