Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Oren Lundy got the match started through his kick off. Eusebio Eaton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tyrell Marion in the 3rd minute of play. If Whitney Pearce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 9 played minutes UD Azucar got a freekick which was hit by Alvin Quinn. Dade City's Ronnie Kerns played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robby Fraser in the 13th minute of play. When Robby Fraser came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the UD Azucar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robby Fraser couldn't finish the play. If Ward Dennison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eusebio Eaton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reggie Garrett, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Oren Lundy took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Eusebio Eaton to make any attempt to save it. Clinton Briggs hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. A collision led to Dade City getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Cesar Smallwood hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the match, Whitney Pearce notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Dade City's Ronnie Kerns. Ronnie Kerns was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Dade City getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Reggie Garrett hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wiley Hanson in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronnie Kerns saved Dade City from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Dade City's zone, Whitney Pearce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronnie Kerns came out of the goal and Whitney Pearce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ronnie Kerns showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ward Dennison in the 46th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wiley Hanson to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Dade City got a freekick which was hit by Clinton Briggs. Oren Lundy scored 2-1 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eusebio Eaton, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 61st match minute, Dade City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesar Smallwood to maneuver through the defense. Eusebio Eaton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oren Lundy in the 67th minute of the match. Eusebio Eaton came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Dade City's Oren Lundy. But to his dismay, Oren Lundy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Tyrell Marion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th match minute, UD Azucar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harvey Layton to maneuver through the defense. Reggie Garrett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 84 minutes in the game, Ward Dennison fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ronnie Kerns having to interfere. A collision led to Dade City getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Oren Lundy hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in UD Azucar's zone, Reggie Garrett stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eusebio Eaton came out of the goal and Reggie Garrett tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dean Leal in the 94th minute of play forced Dade City's goalkeeper Ronnie Kerns to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Dade City players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
