After having played for 14 minutes, Armando Keenan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Barcelona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armando Keenan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 15th minute, Leon Robinson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daryl Boggs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melvin Montano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Barcelona's Daryl Boggs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melvin Montano in the 24th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Los Burritos's Leon Robinson got a free kick in the 25th minute. Robbie Vernon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Manuel Burns hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, Robbie Vernon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daryl Boggs was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robbie Vernon in the 38th minute of play forced FC Barcelona's goalkeeper Daryl Boggs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Los Burritos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Robbie Vernon in the 39th minute. In the 43rd minute, Robbie Vernon made a precise shot to the right of Daryl Boggs. FC Barcelona's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. If Robbie Vernon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Leon Robinson kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Robbie Vernon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armando Keenan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Los Burritos's Robbie Vernon got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Octavio Varner struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Daryl Boggs didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Burritos. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robbie Vernon in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daryl Boggs saved FC Barcelona from getting behind. Leon Robinson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daryl Boggs having to interfere. Leon Robinson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Octavio Varner kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Daryl Boggs. That made the score 0-5 in the 80 minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Los Burritos's Rodrick Shaw sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daryl Boggs narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rusty Collins kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After having played for 92 minutes, Robbie Vernon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A collision led to FC Barcelona getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Rusty Collins hit a great ball. The FC Barcelona fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Los Burritos were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
