Racing Miami Futbol Club's Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jarrod Leary made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. PALMEIRAS-UTAH's Peter Steele proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save PALMEIRAS-UTAH from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, PALMEIRAS-UTAH's Peter Steele got control of the ball when Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Peter Steele came out of the goal and Chance Adams tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Odysseas Voutsas kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. In the 97th minute, Alexis Hoover hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
