The Huitzilopochtli F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Breno de Medeiros should have stopped the shot. In the 8th minute, Jorginho Rosado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Genezzy S.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 14th minute, Adalmo Barral made a precise shot to the right of Breno de Medeiros. Huitzilopochtli F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Jorginho Rosado kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Umberto Madureira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Breno de Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Jorginho Rosado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Breno de Medeiros. Válbson Ribeiro came out of the goal and Chicão Aguiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Huitzilopochtli F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Genezzy S.C were winning 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chicão Aguiar was the one to do the kick off. Jorginho Rosado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Breno de Medeiros having to interfere. If Chicão Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th match minute, Huitzilopochtli F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Bezerra to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Velasco in the 69th minute of play forced Huitzilopochtli F.C.'s goalkeeper Breno de Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Huitzilopochtli F.C. booed when Genezzy S.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nelson Trigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorginho Rosado in the 94th minute of play forced Huitzilopochtli F.C.'s goalkeeper Breno de Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 95 minutes on the clock, Faustão Ramos commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 96 played minutes Huitzilopochtli F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Faustão Ramos. Genezzy S.C's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
