In the 3rd minute Manolo Cosme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wellington Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Haroldo Reis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aleandro Barros's late challenge caught a Porto Sporting Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aleandro Barros helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to S.C Rockbol Paulista getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Aleandro Barros hit a great ball. Porto Sporting Club's Manolo Cosme got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 8th minute, Wellington Toledo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Manolo Cosme notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of S.C Rockbol Paulista's Haroldo Reis. Haroldo Reis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 30th minute, Wellington Toledo made a precise shot to the right of Haroldo Reis. S.C Rockbol Paulista's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Vladimir Branco struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Alexsandro de Castro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.C Rockbol Paulista. After a rather tough play, Porto Sporting Club's Sherlock Holmes got a free kick in the 44th minute. After the first half Porto Sporting Club were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manolo Cosme made a kick off. Sidnei Vander hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. If Vladimir Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haroldo Reis made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Manolo Cosme sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Manolo Cosme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Porto Sporting Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Manolo Cosme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Haroldo Reis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Vladimir Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 66 minutes, Wellington Toledo made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. S.C Rockbol Paulista's Haroldo Reis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Manolo Cosme's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Haroldo Reis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 87th match minute, Porto Sporting Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodriguinho Favoretto to maneuver through the defense. Manolo Cosme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Haroldo Reis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Porto Sporting Club left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than S.C Rockbol Paulista.
