With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erik Urbano in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ediberto Duarte saved Jeritaco EC from getting behind. Ediberto Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Urbano in the 26th minute of the match. Erik Urbano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ediberto Duarte having to interfere. Itamari EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jeritaco EC's Sílvio Luiz Peres got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Itamari EC's Belmiro Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Garcia in the 67th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sílvio Luiz Peres in the 72nd minute of play forced Itamari EC's goalkeeper Belmiro Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 74 minutes, Sílvio Luiz Peres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itamari EC's Belmiro Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Garcia in the 97th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Jeritaco EC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Itamari EC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
