Kaká Marinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Matos in the 52nd minute of play. In the 55th match minute, Ananas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo José Simão to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fábio Aguiar in the 60th minute of play forced Quieto FC's goalkeeper Jânio Baiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arí Marques's late challenge caught a Quieto FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Quieto FC reached it. 81 minutes into the match, Ananas's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Matos came free, but Kaká Marinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kaká Marinho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. In the 91st minute, Dedé Pontes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Quieto FC booed when Ananas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo José Simão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Quieto FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Fábio Aguiar scored to the left of an out of position Jânio Baiano, making the score, 3-3. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
