Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when João Adolfo Cardozo kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd minute Wilson Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agenor Saraiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agenor Saraiva was out of position in the 4 minute of play, and Wilson Antunes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wilson Antunes really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The referee felt a red card was in order, 10 minutes into the game, when Paulo Renato Schmidt put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Club São Bento fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 9th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 11 minutes, Cambotas SS's Serginho de Sousa got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Agenor Saraiva. Thanks to some nice moves Luiz Paulista could shoot a difficult shot in the 15th minute, which Agenor Saraiva however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, Club São Bento's Agenor Saraiva got control of the ball when Jefferson Furtado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Club São Bento's Agenor Saraiva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Club São Bento from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, João Adolfo Cardozo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club São Bento's supporters rose to their feet, but João Adolfo Cardozo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alessandro Camargo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wilson Antunes might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Agenor Saraiva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wilson Antunes ran back to his position shaking his head. Club São Bento's Agenor Saraiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jefferson Furtado in the 28th minute of play. Club São Bento's Agenor Saraiva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Club São Bento from getting a goal against them. Armindo Correia kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Club São Bento's Agenor Saraiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilson Antunes in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Cambotas SS's Erasmo de Lara dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. If Armindo Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armindo Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilson Antunes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Cambotas SS's zone, João Adolfo Cardozo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alessandro Camargo came out of the goal and João Adolfo Cardozo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. João Adolfo Cardozo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessandro Camargo having to interfere. Diamantino Bastos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Armindo Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, Club São Bento's João Adolfo Cardozo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alessandro Camargo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cambotas SS's goalkeeper Alessandro Camargo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 64 minutes, Erasmo de Lara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cambotas SS and the Club São Bento players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th minute, Erasmo de Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the match, Club São Bento's João Adolfo Cardozo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alessandro Camargo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Diamantino Bastos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alessandro Camargo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Alessandro Camargo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diamantino Bastos, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Armindo Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Alessandro Camargo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agenor Saraiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson Antunes in the 76th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Club São Bento defense, Erasmo de Lara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Agenor Saraiva. The Club São Bento fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Agenor Saraiva should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Club São Bento's Armindo Correia got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 83rd match minute, Club São Bento was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diamantino Bastos to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Paulista in the 86th minute of play forced Club São Bento's goalkeeper Agenor Saraiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Diamantino Bastos fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club São Bento's protests and gave Diamantino Bastos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 87th match minute, Club São Bento was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diamantino Bastos to maneuver through the defense. After 89 minutes of play, Cambotas SS's Erasmo de Lara made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Agenor Saraiva was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Cambotas SS had played much better football throughout.
