Andrézinho Monteiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Augusto Bueno having to interfere. Víktor Pontes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Álvaro Arruda made a huge save. With a little luck, LobatenseEC's Álvaro Arruda got control of the ball when Ulysses Sabóia tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Tauariazinho's zone, Gustavo Valladares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrézinho Monteiro couldn't finish the play. Zé Augusto Bueno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrézinho Monteiro in the 96th minute of the match. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Tauariazinho were victorious despite being under pressure from LobatenseEC for much of the match.
