Simão de Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Moisés Domingues fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Oitiva's protests and gave Moisés Domingues a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th minute, one of Oitiva:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Oitiva. In the 30th minute, Roberto Freire hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Giuseppe Martins scored 0-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vânderson Barral, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vânderson Barral came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Oitiva's Giuseppe Martins. But to his dismay, Giuseppe Martins quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simão de Amorim in the 44th minute of play forced ιвιѕ мzƒ¢'s goalkeeper Vânderson Barral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudinho Rocha took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vânderson Barral. ιвιѕ мzƒ¢'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Filipe de Medeiros was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, ιвιѕ мzƒ¢'s Roberto Freire got a free kick in the 57th minute. Bebeto Meira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipe de Medeiros in the 59th minute of play. Giuseppe Martins could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Vânderson Barral made a huge save. Sydney Marquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, ιвιѕ мzƒ¢'s Silas Dias got a free kick in the 67th minute. Bebeto Meira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Filipe de Medeiros went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. 76 minutes into the game, Nildo Prado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Bebeto Meira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Giuseppe Martins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giuseppe Martins got free with Vânderson Barral in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Oitiva booed when ιвιѕ мzƒ¢ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd match minute, ιвιѕ мzƒ¢ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silas Dias to maneuver through the defense.
