Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Olívio Paraibano started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Olívio Passos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesinha Carioca in the 48th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cesinha Carioca to make the kick off. Olívio Passos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cesinha Carioca went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 64th minute, Palmeiras's Olívio Paraibano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Oséas Tepedino. Oséas Tepedino yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. After 69 played minutes Palmeiras got a freekick which was hit by Fabinho Valladares. The supporters of Mambure booed when Palmeiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Pedro Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball.
