Jacinto Mendes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruy Abraão in the 5th minute of the match. Ruy Abraão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Mendes having to interfere. In the 8th minute Ruy Abraão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Mendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvério Chaves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Mendes having to interfere. Sidnei Teixeira kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Jacinto Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvério Chaves, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ruy Abraão in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacinto Mendes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ruy Abraão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Mendes having to interfere. Luís Fábio Paranaense was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dino Porto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 25 minute of play. In the 31st minute Ruy Abraão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Mendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvério Chaves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute, Adolfo Simão sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Curaja's Luís Fábio Paranaense didn't even have to move. Ruy Abraão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jacinto Mendes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruy Abraão in the 43rd minute of the match. Dino Porto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Fábio Paranaense read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. A collision led to Curaja getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Emanuel das Neves hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Dino Porto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Resplendor's supporters rose to their feet, but Dino Porto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Fábio Paranaense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The wind increased when Ruy Abraão made the kick off in the second half. Silvério Chaves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Jacinto Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Resplendor's Jacinto Mendes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Resplendor from getting a goal against them. Jacinto Mendes made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Silvério Chaves sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Ruy Abraão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jacinto Mendes came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Curaja's Ruy Abraão. But to his dismay, Ruy Abraão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 69th minute of the game. One of Resplendor:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Curaja:s goal. The referee gave Curaja a penalty, 70 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Juninho da Rocha, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Resplendor's Jacinto Mendes. 1-3. Ruy Abraão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Genílson Couto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Curaja's Ruy Abraão was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 80th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Resplendor's Jacinto Mendes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Resplendor from getting a goal against them. In the 88th minute, Ruy Abraão reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jacinto Mendes. The goal made the score 1-5. With a little luck, Resplendor's Jacinto Mendes got control of the ball when Silvério Chaves tried to sneak it across the goal line. Curaja's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
