Willian Coutinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agostinho Vergílio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Oséias Dracena came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Madrid Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oséias Dracena couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in DRYLU LIMA's zone, Oséias Dracena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Willian Coutinho came out of the goal and Oséias Dracena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Oséias Dracena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Madrid Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Oséias Dracena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Willian Coutinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 18th minute, one of DRYLU LIMA:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for DRYLU LIMA. Willian Coutinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oséias Dracena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valdemar Couto made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Washington Bittencourt sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Tostão de Amaral kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Valdemar Couto. That made the score 1-1 in the 27 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in DRYLU LIMA's zone, Agostinho Vergílio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Willian Coutinho came out of the goal and Agostinho Vergílio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute, Oséias Dracena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oséias Dracena to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Oséias Dracena ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Willian Coutinho was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Oséias Dracena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 63 minutes into the match, DRYLU LIMA's goalkeeper Willian Coutinho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oséias Dracena. Agostinho Vergílio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Willian Coutinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 68 minutes, Oséias Dracena made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. DRYLU LIMA's Willian Coutinho tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 73 minutes into the game, Madrid Football Club's Agostinho Vergílio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Willian Coutinho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. After a defensive mix-up in Madrid Football Club's zone, Washington Bittencourt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Willian Coutinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Madrid Football Club. In the 95th minute, DRYLU LIMA's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Oséias Dracena fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Madrid Football Club's Oséias Dracena got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
