Sandro Ceresso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Hélder Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramón Moreira made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Abelardo Custódio sent off a good shot on target. David Quaresma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Sandro Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sandro Ceresso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Hélder Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adriano Trevisan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramón Moreira having to interfere. David Quaresma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barrageiros's David Quaresma got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wanderson da Silva hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Luís Paulo Carvalho took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hélder Mendonça. Hélder Mendonça dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Wanderson da Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the match, Barrageiros's Sandro Ceresso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hélder Mendonça narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Duda Brodel got free with Ramón Moreira in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Svoboda FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Barrageiros were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell David Quaresma to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Sandro Ceresso made a precise shot to the right of Hélder Mendonça. Svoboda FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 57th minute of the match Pedrão Furlan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ramón Moreira skillfully saved the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Diamantino Branco kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hélder Mendonça. That made the score 0-3 in the 61 minute of play. The supporters of Barrageiros booed when Svoboda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duda Brodel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hélder Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandro Ceresso, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Hélder Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Quaresma in the 70th minute of the match. Hélder Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Quaresma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adriano Trevisan scored 1-3 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ramón Moreira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Sandro Ceresso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barrageiros's supporters rose to their feet, but Sandro Ceresso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hélder Mendonça breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Duda Brodel got his second yellow card in the match during the 88th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 89 played minutes Svoboda FC got a freekick which was hit by Duda Brodel. In the 92nd minute, Wanderson da Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, Svoboda FC's goal looked a bit too open when David Quaresma came free, but Hélder Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barrageiros's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
