Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Helvetia's Custódio Marquez started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Sky F.A's José Maria Alagoano got a free kick in the 4th minute. 7 minutes into the game, José Maria Alagoano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sky F.A's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Helvetia the free kick. José Maria Alagoano kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Dedê Mendes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Helvetia's supporters rose to their feet, but Dedê Mendes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Fábio Castro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Custódio Marquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Luís Fábio Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sky F.A's Hernani Mattos got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Custódio Marquez in the 22nd minute of play forced Sky F.A's goalkeeper Luís Fábio Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute, Hernani Mattos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Evandro Vidal kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. If Hernani Mattos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Helvetia's Dedê Mendes got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hernani Mattos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. William do Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. William do Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiaguinho Dracena, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. With his leg Luís Fábio Castro managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when Helvetia's Custódio Marquez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tiaguinho Dracena stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tião Matos's late challenge caught a Helvetia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tião Matos helped the player get up and apologised. After 53 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sky F.A! Dedê Mendes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Luís Fábio Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Fábio Castro came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Helvetia's Custódio Marquez. But to his dismay, Custódio Marquez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Luís Fábio Castro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Custódio Marquez went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 70thth minute of the game Dedê Mendes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sky F.A's Luís Fábio Castro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Custódio Marquez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luís Fábio Castro was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. In the 74th minute, Geovânio Araújo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Helvetia's Guto Gerber couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 75th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Sky F.A. In the 77th match minute, Helvetia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Custódio Marquez to maneuver through the defense. Helvetia's Dedê Mendes got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luís Fábio Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Custódio Marquez in the 81st minute of the match. Dedê Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Maria Alagoano kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. A collision led to Sky F.A getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. José Maria Alagoano hit a great ball. Luís Fábio Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Custódio Marquez in the 93rd minute of play. 97 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sky F.A's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Guto Gerber was slow to take the kick. During this time Helvetia's players had a chance to rest. Helvetia's Guto Gerber was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Luís Fábio Castro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Helvetia's William do Nascimento proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 99th minute of the match, managed to save Helvetia from getting a goal against them. Helvetia walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
