Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Percy Bittencourt made the kick off which started today's match. Benê Santos didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 3rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. When Luiz Guilherme Ortiz came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Mandante fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Guilherme Ortiz couldn't finish the play. 10 minutes into the game, Afonso Romero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mandante's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sport Club Z15 the free kick. A collision led to Mandante getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Afonso Romero hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the match, Sport Club Z15's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Guilherme Ortiz came free, but Durvalino Gomes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th match minute, Mandante was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fred da Silva to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Luiz Guilherme Ortiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mandante's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Guilherme Ortiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Durvalino Gomes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Guilherme Ortiz in the 27th minute of play forced Sport Club Z15's goalkeeper Durvalino Gomes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Gugu de Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Mandante's Fred da Silva in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sport Club Z15's goalie prevented a goal. Durvalino Gomes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Romero in the 34th minute of the match. Durvalino Gomes came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Mandante's Afonso Romero. But to his dismay, Afonso Romero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fred da Silva in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Durvalino Gomes saved Sport Club Z15 from getting behind. Sport Club Z15's Durvalino Gomes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred da Silva in the 41st minute of play. Fred da Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Durvalino Gomes having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Fred da Silva made the kick off in the second half. Silvério Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Benê Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fred da Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Durvalino Gomes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fred da Silva's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. If Luiz Guilherme Ortiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Sport Club Z15's zone, Luiz Guilherme Ortiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Durvalino Gomes came out of the goal and Luiz Guilherme Ortiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fred da Silva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Durvalino Gomes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. With a little luck, Sport Club Z15's Durvalino Gomes got control of the ball when Luiz Guilherme Ortiz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 75 played minutes Vladimir Varela rounded Sport Club Z15's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. Benê Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvério Leal in the 82nd minute of play. Sport Club Z15's Durvalino Gomes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred da Silva in the 83rd minute of play. Luiz Guilherme Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
