In the 14th minute Doriva Sarmento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Berger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Portela F.C.'s Agostinho Furlan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Xamín Artaza. That made the score 2-0 after 15 minutes of play. Caio Tepedino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Agostinho Furlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xamín Artaza having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Delta Force AC's João Paulo Barral got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 45 minutes into the match, Portela F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Doriva Sarmento came free, but Gil Berger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gil Berger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Betinho Medeiros in the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Doriva Sarmento to strike the kick off in the second half. Xamín Artaza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caio Tepedino in the 61st minute of the match. Natã de Brito charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Natã de Brito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Betinho Medeiros came free with the goalkeeper in the 63rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gil Berger could save by the left post. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the match, Delta Force AC's Natã de Brito sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gil Berger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 83 minutes into the match, Caio Tepedino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xamín Artaza. Delta Force AC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Caio Tepedino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Xamín Artaza didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Portela F.C.'s Samuca Ribeiro shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 6-1 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 91st minute, Caio Tepedino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xamín Artaza was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. Caio Tepedino took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xamín Artaza. Xamín Artaza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-1. Portela F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
